INFORMATION Frames Painting prices include the frame. An image can be sent of the painting in the frame. Unframed prices are also available. Please contact the artist. Background I am an impressionist oil painter who paints scenes of the comtemporary west. Living in the mountains of Washington State, I paint figures, landscapes, animals, still lifes and portraits. The underpinnings of my work are academic but the emphasis is on color. BA Fine Art- UCBerkeley, Illustration Art Center Los Angeles, Painting -University of Guanajuato Mexico in San Miguel de Allende and years studying with Ron Lukas, protogee of Sergei Bongart, a great Russian painter and colorist. I began at Berkeley in Abstract Expressionism and ended up a realist/impressionist painter interested in capturing what I see...the drama, color, life of the beautiful area in which I live, the Methow Valley of eastern Washington.
